Bought this pass before going, mainly because it gave access to the cable cars and buses in SF so saving having to worry about finding change etc. However,it also gave free access to the Museum of Modern Art, Aquarium, Academy of Sciences and Bay Cruise. All great experiences and, given the number of cable car rides we took, well worth the money. Would recommend.

Our family of 3 purchased the City Pass as soon as we could and jumped on the city buses and cable cars. It is a great and rewarding way to get around that beautiful city. You get to meet locals from the area. Every one that I have met there has been kind and helpful. The attractions more than pay for the card. They were all enjoyable and interesting. It is a great value in my opinion. That is the second time we purchased the City Pass on our visit to the City By The Bay.

Definitely its a must if you want to visit different places and save some money. If you want to enjoy cable cars this is a clever way to do it!. Aquarium, Exploratorium and CAL Science was a perfect combo. Also we went on the ferry to the Golden Gate and the trip was excellent!! i will do it again.

I always feel like a tourist when I go to the City.
This August I have visitors from Mexico, and I choose this CityPass us a way to explore all the main points of the City.
A pass for a day was perfect with a tour to Sausalito, for extra $, except that we made a mistake.
We supposed to get off at the vista point at the end of de Golden Gate And we forgot.
Recommendations: make sure to pay attention to the stops.

I'm sorry this is going to be a long review, but that's just because I had such a great experience with the CityPASS!

My boyfriend and I were in town for 3 days, with no rental car and no concrete plans. This pass was perfect! We picked up our passes at the Visitor's Center inside Macy's, since it was right across the street from our hotel. The first day we took the Muni out to the Museum of Science. We spent about 3 hours there, we did not pay to do the planetarium, the general admission was perfect.

The second day, we jumped (literally) onto a cable car and took it all the way up to Fisherman's Wharf. We took advantage of our aquarium admission, and spent maybe an hour inside. It's small, but cute. We then jumped in line for our 1 hour boat tour. We only waited about 20 minutes and were able to enjoy our tour.

Throughout our visit, we hopped on and off the Muni, whenever we didn't feel like walking.

This is a must have pass, just for the unlimited rides alone!

We used the "Go City" all-inclusive 5-day pass to see so many attractions in San Francisco! This was a great way to know what's available and pay one price for all of your S.F. experiences.

Some of our favourites were the Alcatraz cruise, "Escape from the Rock", which takes you under the Golden Gate Bridge, around Alcatraz and to the Bay Bridge. There were great views of the S.F. skyline and the bay.

We also loved visiting Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, USS Pampanito and the Hornet Air Craft Carrier. The Hop-On-Hop-Off Bus Tour on the first day gave us a great overview of the city. Some of the other attractions we did (all great!) were the Dungeon, Bay Aquarium, many other attractions on the Bay.

I would highly recommend this if you are visiting San Francisco for a short time - great value for money!
