Fun for All. Get there early, wear comfy shoes, pack a lunch & plenty of water. Getting there early mean you can park up near the entrance or if you have a membership you can park right on top. A little pricey but very well worth it. Grab a map and try to plan your day hence

I like open area zoo enclosures. I recommend taking the bus to see herds of animals. Entrance fee is in the pricey side. There is even a rope obstacle course where you climb on Eucalyptus trees. I would rather spend a rope course somewhere else than in a smelly zoo.

I mean it is not a bad zoo at all. Large, lots of animals but many enclosures are from last century. Small concrete enclosures for bears and the like. It also a run down in areas. From just coming from Taronga Zoo in Sydney this " world number 1" zoo was a disappointment.

Loved visiting the San Diego Zoo earlier this year. Staff is friendly, a great variety of animals, and the bus tour was fun as well. Must-see if you are visiting San Diego! I recommend you dedicate a whole morning/afternoon to it, as it is quite big.

I have to say the park was nice and very well maintained. My only suggestion is to take your binoculars. Being the animal are not close to see.
