Overview

Save time and minimize stress by buying your tickets to two of New York City’s most sought-after attractions, the Statue of Liberty and the Ellis Island National Immigration Museum in advance. As part your admission package, you’ll enjoy a ferry ride from Manhattan’s Battery Park, a self-guided audio tour, and free time to soak up the experience.

What to Expect
With your Standard Flex Line Admission Ticket for the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Cruise in hand, make your way to the departure point at Battery Park — boats prior to 10am have the shortest wait times.

Your tickets are general admission. At least 30 minutes prior to your departure time access the flex line to security where you you will enjoy a video presentation introducing you to the two iconic monuments you are about to see. When the time comes, step aboard the ship and find a space in either the indoor or outdoor seating areas. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing appropriate to the day's weather, as the cruise and tour are an indoor/outdoor experience. All vessels are wheelchair accessible.

When the cruise docks, step onto Liberty Island and obtain your audio headset to begin your self-guided audio tour of the grounds. Learn that the Statue of Liberty was a gift from France to America commemorating the centennial of the Declaration of Independence, among other interesting facts.

Step back aboard the boat for the trip over to Ellis Island. Your standard admission ticket gives you access to the Ellis Island Immigration Museum, filled with displays dedicated to the island where millions of arrivals to America landed between the years of 1892 and 1954.

When you have finished exploring Ellis Island, step back on the boat and cruise back to New York's Battery Park while admiring views of the Manhattan skyline. Concessions and souvenirs are available on board the boat.

New York boat trip

Has to be done, this is a great city but also fabulous to view by boat. Statue of Liberty is amazing the closer you get. Worth a visit and take lots of pics!

When we arrived at Battery Park and saw the line for the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Ferry we all but despaired of going. The line was halfway across the park and barely moving, Fortunately I had purchased "Reserve" tickets. After picking them up at the...More

Be sure you get on the right Ferry!!

As you leave Ellis, there are two ferry lines, going in opposite directions. The tour itself is great. The audio walking tour is helpful, but not for a disabled individual. Two hands required. It would be nice if they offered earphones with the units. Gratefully,...More

Wonderful Destination

Booked this last minute visit to both places and was able to beat the crowd by going first thing in the morning during the week. If you want to climb in the crown, make sure to book this way in advance. Same day purchases seem...More
