About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- lq2230 contributionsFun Times 😍The staff was friendly, the buffet had great selections and was delicious from dinner to dessert. The music was great and it was a warm fun atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it.Written 19 January 2025
- NeelimaS360 contributionsGreat trip!Excellent! The food was good and the staff was very friendly. Great place to dance with kids during the daytime. Nice views of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty.Written 12 January 2025
- MMR20000 contributionsMost terrible with the New Year's EveLack of VIP Exclusivity: The advertised VIP package offered no discernible advantages over the standard ticket categories. The food provided was identical to that of the lowest-priced category, and beverages such as coffee and tea were only available at stations designated for the cheapest tickets. Music Issues: Initially, no music was provided, and guests were instructed to play their own via mobile devices. Only after multiple complaints were the speakers turned on, and music was finally offered. Inadequate Facilities: There were no accessible restrooms at the VIP level. Guests were forced to go downstairs and endure long queues, which was extremely inconvenient. Given the premium price charged for the VIP package, the lack of additional benefits or enhancements made it impossible to justify the expense. This was, regrettably, my most disappointing New Year’s Eve experience.Written 5 January 2025
- jillie5740 contributionsBeautiful journey from the outside! The boat trip itself was very good - the staff were friendly, but the food wasn't very nice - overcooked, mushy and unappetising. The tables seemed very close together, bearing in mind most people had heavy coats to put on the backs of their chairs. There were also bag checks not allowing a bottle of water to be brought in - totally unnecessary, but I assume they were worried it was alcohol and that would affect their takings!Written 1 January 2025
- cristiandQ5581XA0 contributionsThe worst experience of my life, terrible service, food was very poor, 25 min wait for restroom and barTerrible food, lines for the bar were very long. The worst organization considering it was New Year’s Eve party. We did not get to have any dessert Terrible service and experienceWritten 31 December 2024

- NLK28330 contributionsChristmas Day buffet cruise. This experience improved the longer we were onboard. To start, the staff to seat us were limited, there was a long line and we were stood waiting a while before being shown to our seats - fair enough, it looked like staff were short! We were then shown our table and it took forever for anyone to come and take a drinks order (or even give us a bottomless mimosa!) in fact, we were told we could go up for food before we’d even been asked if we wanted a drink. Eventually, someone came near our table, so we asked to order some water, they seemed to disappear as we never got this. After about 30 minutes onboard and feeling frustrated, I went to the bar myself and explained the circumstances, our server was incredibly apologetic and was straight over to take our order, and from then on, the service was very good! Due to the fact she felt bad for making us wait, she offered a cocktail on the house. The food and service from then on was great, the dj played some great music and offered his knowledge of the passing landmarks - a great afternoon of site seeing with food and drink, what more could you want on Christmas Day?! We were also able to venture to the top deck to see the beautiful surroundings of NYC; views that weren’t disappointing. All in all, a great afternoon!Written 30 December 2024
- Tina R0 contributionsIn need of a cleaningVessel was dirty. Floor in severe need of a vacuum. Windows dirty with hand prints everywhere. Ladies bathroom stunk and had no toilet paper. Food on Thanksgiving buffet was good. They were just really slow at replenishing. I had to wait for dressing and several other items. DJ’s were awesome. Our waitstaff was awesome also. No complaints there.Written 28 December 2024
- Robert E0 contributionsChristmas in New YorkVery relaxing with beautiful views. Buffett and atmosphere was great. Servers were courteous, prompt, and friendly.Written 20 December 2024
- cleopatrab830 contributions60th BIRHTDAY CELEBRATIONI celebrated my 60th birthday party on the Manhattan Elite Yacht. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Mariel Fradua, the Event Coordinator, for making this event a remarkable and exciting day. Everything went according to how she and I planned the event, and the food was absolutely delicious, thanks to the amazing cook. Despite the rain, the captain was very attentive to our schedule and ensured no one was left behind. I also want to express my gratitude to Mariel for consistently answering and returning my phone calls. You are truly amazing and highly recommended! However, I had a negative experience with Mariam Diabate, an event coordinator. When we met prior to the event, we specifically discussed the placement of the balloon set, and I requested that no plates or silverware be placed on the tables until after the tablecloths were put on. On the day of the event, I sent a reminder email requesting that no plates or silverware be placed on the table. Additionally, I requested that we dock at the pier during the last hour of the event. On the day of the event, when I arrived with the tablecloths, I found that each table was fully set with plates and silverware, and only one staff member was onboard. My sister, my event planner, and the staff had to remove all the settings, lay the tablecloths, and reset everything with the plates and silverware. I did not see the balloon set up initially, but as I headed up the steps to see the DJ, I noticed the lady was setting up the balloons. She had not been instructed to set them up on the lower level, so she had to dismantle that setup and move everything downstairs. During the event, my staff and Chief Financial Officer were confused and stated, "I did not know you were retiring." It literally took me by surprise. Instead of the menu reading "Welcome to the 60th Birthday," it mistakenly stated, "Welcome to BirthTirement." When my daughter showed this to me, I was very upset; it was clearly a cut-and-paste error. I received the corrected version three days after the event. At 10:35 PM, I realized we were still sailing. I asked the captain if he knew the boat was supposed to dock at 10 PM. He informed me that he had not been notified, so we headed to the dock immediately. Overall, Mariel, the captain, the cook, and the staff were AWESOME; I would rate them all 5 STARS. However, due to the issues with Mariam, I feel it is fair to rate this event 3 stars.Written 10 December 2024
- stevelG5817CP0 contributionsAwesome, romantic experience all aroundOverall, this was an awesome fantastic evening cruise. The crew was great, every item on the buffet was hot and delicious. The music was wonderful and we danced. The other folks were very friendly. The cruise was smooth. Being next to the Statue of Liberty at night was awe-inspiring and romanticWritten 12 November 2024

- Caesar m0 contributionsPremier plated dinner cruiseWe did a premier dinner cruise This was a 3 hour cruise The views and the cruise itself was beautiful and you get to see a lot of the Hudson River features and attractions including Statue of Liberty The dinner was bad. Not only that they didn’t have a lot of the items advertised in the menu for the plated dinner but what was left is really poor quality. This is not a cheap cruise. It ended up being about $260 per person so I would definitely expect better quality dinner This was a disappointment.Written 3 September 2024
- marksA4569WY0 contributionsGreat food, great crew, great views. This was a great way to see NYC from the water. Entire process was simple. Online ordering, easy. We pick (paid a little extra) for an individual window seat which was amazing (worth the few extra bucks). Buffet was very good with a lot of variety. No need for extra food that day. Crew was very attentive. It was a lively cruise with a bunch of seniors who got the whole boat rocking on the dance floor. It was neat to see people from around the world having a good time with these seniors. If you are thinking of a cruise in NYC, this should be at the top of your list.Written 12 August 2024
