Terrific Intro to Brooklyn
Feb 2020 • Couples
This walking/food tour of 3 Brooklyn neighborhoods was thoroughly enjoyable. It exceeded our expectations with numerous stops at independent small businesses—some with long histories, all with interesting histories and all with very tasty food and/or drink. The neighborhoods were beautiful and inviting. Alex was very knowledgeable and very easy to be with. Highly recommend.

Great tour!
This is a great tour! Sasha was our guide. He was excellent and informative. The tour was interesting, tasty, fun. It is a great way to learn about the history of Brooklyn, and how it has shaped, and continues to shape, the Brooklyn of today - particularly as you do much of that through food! The food samplings were generous and interesting - there is something for every taste, with lots of surprises along the way, from pastries, cookies and coffee to smoked fish, cheese, sodas, beer and spinach pies. There is a story behind every bite. In addition, you get a discount if you choose to purchase from the providores you meet on the tour. Highly recommended.

Greg delivers a 5 star A+ Tour
Sep 2019 • Couples
What a brilliant introduction to Brooklyn migrant and food history. The tour is extensive and a must for foodies and cultural historians. Greg is so enthusiastic and engaging, everything you want in a tour guide. With only my partner and me on the tour, Greg made us feel like VIP's. This is a must 5 star tour, my highlights are Stinky and the Damascus Bakery

Sheli was amazing
Tours from locals are awesome. We learned so much about Brooklyn and the local restaurants we visited. My friend, who has lived in Brooklyn for 15 years even learned about the architecture and history behind her favorite haunts. Sheli was fun, informative, personable, hilarious, and knowledgeable. She even hung out with us for 40 mins after the tour ended! We totally will take another tour with her. Food highlights are included in pics. I am an eater, but we were both so full after the tour. Advice: fast, don’t eat breakfast.

I was by myself in New York and the best thing I did was to join this tour. It was not my first time in the city and I still enjoyed and learned lot! MARY HANNAH was super nice and knew a lot about the neighborhood and the city. If those red buses are not your thing, this will be perfect!

Fun Afternoon with food and history
Jul 2019 • Friends
Our guide, Brian, showed of group of 3 around the Carol Hill section of Brooklyn. We stopped at 9 local shops and had tastes of cheeses, bread, cookies, beer & nuts, salmon & bagels, spinach pie, biscotti & coffee and egg cream soda. I had to stop eating because it was too much. Along the way Brian explained the history of Brooklyn, the brownstones and the neighborhoods. It was a lot of fun even though we walked through the rain at the last 3 stops. Brian is a terrific guide.

Small Group Brooklynn Food Tour
Jul 2019 • Friends
We, a group of family & friends had a 12pm Small Group Brooklyn Food Tour today. We are very disappointed. Food was very tiny, small, and arrangement was inflexible, we left hungry.

We regretted spending 3 hours in this tour. Not recommended, dont waste yr $$.
