Overview
Walk through New Orleans famously haunted St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 in the company of a guide on this spirit-focused tour. Your guide will safely drive you between sites in an air-conditioned vehicle, and tell you all about the city’s haunted history, voodoo inclinations, and the priestess Marie Laveau. You’ll make your way through a maze of above-ground graves and mausoleums, and go home with your very own amulet.
What to Expect
Meet your guide and group in the French Quarter, where you’ll board an air-conditioned vehicle for the ride to the St. Louis Cemetery No. 1, one of the city’s oldest.

As you enter the cemetery, your guide will tell you about the reasons for above-ground burials and the use of mausoleums.

Stroll through the cemetery, seeing some of its huge society tombs, and hear tales about New Orleans voodoo queen Marie Laveau. Stop by her tomb, which is a pilgrimage destination for people from across the world. In keeping with tradition, cast a spell or make a wish at her grave.

Your guide will also teach you about the continuing practice and development of voodoo in modern New Orleans. Walk away from the tour with your very own gris-gris (voodoo amulet) to take home.

Return to the French Quarter for drop-off at the end of your tour.
