Highlights
  • See New Orleans from a different angle on a jazz brunch cruise
  • Steam down the Mississippi on one of the last surviving paddle-wheel ships
  • Hearty brunch buffet includes a variety of Southern-style classics
  • Live jazz trio adds to the vintage atmosphere
What to Expect
Board the historic Steamboat Natchez at a convenient dock near the French Quarter, and leave the bustling city streets behind as the ship paddles onto the “Mighty” Mississippi. Stroll the decks for fantastic views, and visit the museum-quality engine room for a closer look at the ship’s antique machinery. A live jazz trio keeps the mood upbeat. Head to the dining cabin for a buffet brunch loaded with savory Southern classics, such as sausage gumbo, biscuits and gravy, shrimp and grits, and scrambled eggs. Indulge in bananas Foster, sugar-dusted beignets, or bread pudding for dessert, and order a bloody mary, mimosa, or other drink from the cash bar (see Itinerary for a full menu). If you have other dining plans, a cruise-only option is also available.

Very enjoyable cruise up & down the Mighty Mississippi River. Captain gave a lot of info about the town and industry. Enjoyed the little jazz band aboard. BUT...the brunch was by far the best! So much delicious food. I highly recommend adding the brunch to your steamboat cruise.
