Overview

Trekking from The Walking Dead’s fictional towns of Woodbury to Alexandria is a snap with a guide who knows Senoia, Georgia, the filming location for the series. This small-group guided tour of the TV show’s locations covers 2 miles (3.2 kilometers) and gives a behind-the-scenes look at places caught on camera, starting with season three. One bonus: Your guide may resemble a character from the show.

What to Expect

Start The Walking Dead filming locations guided tour at the Georgia Tour Company in Senoia. From there, you’ll begin your behind-the-scenes tour of locations from the hit AMC TV show.

Your guide, who is dressed as a character on the show, leads you to some of the coolest filming locations, which you might not find on your own. Visit the fictional towns of Woodbury and Alexandria  and see where scenes like Spencer’s death played out. Get a feeling for what it’s like for the actors to perform in the Georgia climate, and perhaps spot a celebrity if the show is in production. Have your camera ready for a few surprises to pop up during the tour, too.

In addition to The Walking Dead locations, you’ll see filming locations for Pet Cemetery Two, Fried Green Tomatoes, and Drop Dead Diva.

The tour, with morning or afternoon departure time, ends at the starting point.

Walk with the Dead.

Tour guide Susan Boone was very informative and made the tour enjoyable. The tour was two and a half hours but didn't seem nearly that long. I was not a Walking Dead fan prior to the tour but will now binge watch to catch up....More

Great Tour

Senoia Rick was the guide. He was VERY knowledgeable about all the filming and happenings. I was surprised to hear about how many different and key scenes were filmed in the same location for most of the series. Highly recommended for all TWD fans.

Mara/Rosita was our personal guide for the day and a pleasure to be with (and a bonus to be in the company of one who got to work on the show!). It really pays to get the tour instead of trying to find things on...More
