It turns out that the English architect, William Tierney Clark, designed the Széchenyi Chain Bridge based on his earlier design for the smaller Marlow Bridge in Buckinghamshire. The Chain Bridge is more impressive, accommodates two-way traffic, and looks great lit up at night.
