Taboga Island has quiet sunny beaches easily accessible by ferry from Panama City! There are tons of shells and during low tide you can walk right up to a small island

Very fun day at the beach. The sand is filled with shells so make sure to bring a beach towel and sandals. But you can rent chairs and an umbrella for a reasonable price. Good food and low prices drinks at the beach. Highly recommend...More

Panama has a litter problem and it is the same on Taboga unfortunately. It is a naturally pretty island with a nice small beach and warm waters. We had a lovely day out but I picked up quite a bit of litter from the beach...More

Located just off the Pacific coast, from Panama City, Taboga Island offers a great day trip to get away from it all. The people and shops are friendly and the trip is easy on the wallet!

We took the Taboga Express ferry and spent the night. Unless you want to hike all day, there is absolutely no need to spend the night. There's nothing much to do at all. The island has a fly problem. It seems like they need to...More

Go early to get a prime spot on the beach, but be sure to stay above the high tide line or you will be moving as the tide come WAY up on the beach. Rent lounges and an umbrella for the day.

Great island great beach 30min from Panama City, cristal clear water, quiet and good services, food and drinks right there at the beach. I prefer Playa Honda, because it less crowded and has better service level
