The national park itself is nice. Just our guide (Grace Guerrero from G-adventures) hasn't warn us the food is not alouded to bring in (so I had to throw it) and about bathing suite for great beaches.

Enjoyed our visit. Had guided walk and saw 2 species of sloth, howler monkeys close up, many birds including several species of hummingbird, colourful insects, lizards and crabs. Well worth the visit. Beach area is nice and not over busy on day we were there....More

Walking this park is unbelievable! You can see 3 different kind of monkeys, iguanas and other lizards, sloths and more than a million red crabs! The trial ends on the wonderful beaches!

I admired this this place, you can visit this park in 2 hours , a nice hike where you can see monkeys, birds, and the beach was beautiful.

Approaching the entrance to the park, be prepared to be bombarded by "tour guides". After entrance, it's a long walk before any wildlife can be seen. We saw a few monkeys, a raccoon and some crabs......Near the first beach area we bought some really awful...More

Beautiful and well kept park. Handicap friendly. DON'T give in to those who try to "sell" you parking spaces to watch your car - or show up early. $16 pp entry fee for non-resident Costa Ricans.

We saw all kind of animals - a lot of monkeys, a snake, sloths, ... but please treat yourself to a private guide! This way you will get most out of it and not miss the beauty!

They take both The fees they charge are USD but you can pay in either currency I took both with me and paid for meals in colones as worked out little cheaper
