A large beach with Manuel Antonio National park at the south end Frequented by a lot of surfers. Signs indicate strong currents so not the best for swimming. There are a lot of vendors and restaurants near by and you can rent boggy board chairs...More

We have visited twice, the beach is the largiest in the area, No people at all as we believe September is no busy like the high season. Weather always good in the morning, afternoon raining. Good beach.

It is not difficult to get from any of the hotels to the beach on the bus or even walking. The nicer hotels are not right next to the beach. They are up the hill. We stayed at the Hotel Costa Verde which was wonderful... More
