We had visited the area and the church. Church is nice and the grounds good for photo taking. However, the actual site from which the Sermon of Jesus was given is a patch adjacent to the church. It’s a private property.
The Mount of the Beatitudes is undoubtedly one of the main reasons of visiting the Galilea region. In addition to the historical and biblical significance, the church and its surroundings located on a hill above the lake convey amazing positive sensations difficult to describe.

It is where Jesus is believed to have delivered the Sermon on the Mount (also known as Mount Eremos). The site is very near Tabgha. We had a mass on the top view with our tour group and it was just a great feeling.
