A most enjoyable visit to this amazing castle with many of the underground medieval rooms remaining. Wonderful views across the village and towards the coast. This castle certainly gave me the impression of what it must have been like to have lived here.

There is a large parking area along a grass verge on entering, it is a pay and display car park but you get the £3 odd refunded on entrance so it is free really. There are public toilets in the corner of the car park...More

Adults are £5.80, children between 5-15 are £3.40, and a family (2+3) is £15.00. The Concession rate is just barely a concession at £5.20. If you have an English Heritage membership, entrance is free. I hope you enjoy it!
