Easter Weekend 2017 at Barker's was fantastic. Cookouts, some swimming, watching Kite Surfing. Lots of cold breeze at night

We came here for Kite Surfing lessons for my son. The beach is remote and gorgeous. Perfect if you want some peace and quiet away from the crowds. The only down side is that there are a lot of pot holes on the unpaved road in. I would not let that stop you. Just know that you have to drive... More

Visit Barker National Park If you are a tourist, want to tour the whole island, and have a rental car----but be careful driving (unless you do not mind paying for new scratches and stone marks). We enjoyed the park area in this Northwest part of the island but did not find the beach areas anywhere as nice as 7 Mile... More

Very nice scenery, not the greatest beach because there is a lot of seaweed, but its very nice to walk and there are usually no people

Rough drive (forded three large puddles/pools) to get there but if you follow the signs you will make it. But once you get there you will see only the kitesurfers. Not a beach for swimming and obviously it is very, very windy which actually makes it feel chilly.

Beautiful water, you could sit all day and just stare out. It would be a great place for a picnic. We discovered this while on a bike ride. We did go back for a second visit and swam for a bit in the ocean in hopes to perhaps spot a turtle, but had no luck in this area even though... More

Kids took a horse back ride here while my husband and I sat on some chairs enjoying the views and sand. The beaches here are not nearly as dirty as some others we went to.

If you want to be alone after crowd of 7 miles beach - that is the place. Or hiking , using several horseback riding facilities, two kitesurfing schools. It is safe. Even if you see people - very friendly encounter with another tourists or local walking their dogs...
