A fanstic complex of beach, gardens, and museums on the site of Alfred Nobel’s dynamite factory. It’s wonderful. The beach is enormous and the swimming excellent. The gardens are superior, as is the museum. We enjoyed a full day there, having brought a picnic and our swimwear, our cameras and our drawing tools. There’s easy bus access from adjacent villages, as well as connections to beautiful coastal trails. Don’t miss it if you’re in the area.…

Lovely park, excellent beach. Good parking. This used to be a dynamite factory, but has been converted to a beautiful public facility.

Spent nearly a whole day here. Looked around the museum, wandered through the park and picnicked on the beach. Was a very hot day for the time of year & as the day went on the beach got busier but still not packed despite it being half term.

This location was the site of the Nobel dynamite factory. They have cleaned up the grounds and made it into a lovely park and beach area. There is a beautiful boardwalk area that is shaded and many trails to walk around the area. We visited in the winter so the beach was empty but certainly made it peaceful. Nice spot to check out. And it has parking available.…
