Great landmark to stop at for a quick pic in a little town. Definitely stop if you drive out to the north end.

While on a yoga retreat a friend and I visited. The history behind the King and how he united the Hawaiian islands is wonderful. We ate at the pizza shop across the street. The had wonderful pineapple upside down cake and good smoothies!

The place was easy to find. Just right next on the street. There was a parking behind. Nothing much to see just the statue.

Nice history lessons here. This is the original statue that all the others are about. You want to drive to see this and the small town. Nice opportunities for pics!! Thumbs up!!
