We visited on a really dismal day and were made to feel so welcome by the knowledgeable volunteers. It is a great place to visit to find out about Launceston and its past. Loved the Biba dress.

After 20 years we eventually got to visit this splendid museum. It is clearly laid out and each room is informative about the town's history. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Well worth a visit

Big signs on road point you in the right direction. Loads to see, in this rather splendid house. Staff helpful. Watch out for stranger on stairs. Never knew about John Couch Adams and Neptune, very interesting.
