A lot is made of Iga-Ueno's connection with the Ninja. Probably was good once upon a time but now quite overdone. The castle itself is about average as Japanese small castles go with so-so displays of samurai armor etc. The ninja house would be the...More

Ueno Castle is a very manageable size that one can easily cover in conjunction with a visit to the ninja museum on the same hill within the same park. It contains period art and various artifacts.
