Gardens were lovely and staff very friendly. The gardens took some navigating as the map supplied was unclear. The museum would be great for those who know who the family were and had an interest in their writing

Within a stone's throw of Sheffield, this is a peaceful haven of flowers, herbs, ponds, lakes and statues. Borrowed their mobility scooter and managed to get around most of the garden.

Hi yes you can access the café without paying to view the house and gardens but make sure you check opening times as there may be reduced opening hours in the winter months. Enjoy
