One of the best mountains in the world

I love Taos, the mountain, the people, the snow. It's just a wonderful and magical place and their ski school is second to none for kids as well.

Taos ski valley is charming and quaint; steep and ferocious in areas. Plenty of fun for everyone. The ski and boarding schools are tops. Friendly patient instructors.

Was really pleased with many of the features of this mountain: short lift lines on a holiday weekend, plenty of room during lunch times, super helpful staff, great photo team with reasonable rates, gorgeous scenery and free parking with convenient shuttles. A couple of the snack and drink places didn't take credit so bring cash. Plenty of greens and blues... More

My family usually skis at Wolf Creek but thought we'd try something different this year so I'll be comparing the two. We are intermediate skiers from Texas focused more on fun than work! Wolf Creek Pros - ALWAYS great snow! - Reasonably priced lift tickets - Great ski school - Lots of room on slopes and can move people up... More

Good staff, good restaurants, very nice and friendly people. Great skiing for beginner/intermediate to expert skiers. We had a great time there. Children's center is a big plus.

Great snow and less crowds! Ski runs are shorter than many other resorts we have visited. Wished some of the lifts were a little faster.

We visited Taos Ski Valley for the first time last week, which was the week between Christams and New Years. We were staying down the mountain in the Town of Taos. We left Taos at 8 a.m., and anticipated arriving at 8:30 to beat any crowds. Unfortunately, leaving at 8 a.m. was not early enough at all. When we arrived,... More

Taos is a four letter word that means "steep". Pow-Pow all day. Best skiing on earth (at least as good as anywhere in Nort America)

Great skiing for beginner/intermediate to expert skiers. Not many routes for true beginners (bunny). Beautiful views. Helpful staff, good snow.

I've gone to Taos since I was a kid and always have a good time. It gets the best snow in the area and the mountain is challenging. It's not great for beginners, but is super fun for intermediate+ skiers & boarders.
