We thought the house (very good multilingual guided tour) and garden were both very nice and worth the steep entry price

Hi there, To be honest I am not sure! I purchased my ticket at the front gate, but there were a few tour busses there, so maybe you can book a tour? Best of luck! And wishing you excellent weather for your outing (:

Solar de Mateus is well known for its baroque architecture and garden. It’s not a winery although it will be possible to taste the Mateus rosé wine. Enjoy!
