Two or three blocks long. Lots of fish, including fugu (the poisonous blowfish) and lots of dried octopus. Also can find stores with the famous lacquerware.

Even though we had to look from under umbrellas, the array of fresh and dried seafood was amazing. There were many lacquerware stores and the staff were very helpful. A few antique stores also which were a delight to look through. We found a lovely...More

This is much smaller than Kanazawa, but worth experiencing. Locals are excited over local recognition from NHK TV series. Learn about lacquerware to appreciate this community.
