Wonderful view!

I think the summer is also good and I'm convinced that the colored leaves season is wonderful surely.

You can get to Senjojiki cirque easily thanks to Komagadake cable cars. You are able to look at some kinds of pretty alpine wildflowers there in summer. I recommend you go there at the beginning or ending of August, because it is so crowded at the middle of August due to summer vacation in Japan. In addition, you can... More

The Senjojiki Cirque is accessible year round thanks to the Komagatake Ropeway. The summit station of this aerial tram is the highest point accessible by public transportation in Japan at 2,612 meters above sea level. From the middle of April to the end of May the company that owns the ropeway sets up a T-bar lift for determined/daring skiers. The... More

This review lost one point because I found it fairly expensive. Pay for parking, then pay for the bus, then pay for the gondola. Overall about USD$60 per person. The second point lost is nature's fault as it was a cloudy day and the spectacular views were not to be seen. To avoid dissapointment go when it is perfectly blue... More

What can I say... it was just gorgeous, that is it. Check this website in English, http://www.chuo-alps.com/en/index.html (Official website) The only thing that I should mention to you is that you can't get to the bottom of the gondola with your own car. You need to leave your car at the Shinobidaira bus station and take their bus that goes... More
