This park is surprisingly large and jam packed with a beautiful variety of flowers! Scenic walkways everywhere. The wisteria were unfortunately done (except for some yellow) when we went, but there is plenty left to see. I was amazed by the variety.

No words to describe how beautiful the Wisteria flowers are. Absolutely loved it and wouldn’t mind visiting again. You could spend hours just gazing at the magnificent trees. A must visit during Wisteria Flower bloom period.

We went there during the long weekend in May, arrived around 9:30am. By 11:00am, the place got so busy as tour busses started to arrive. Unfortunately, due to the warm weather, wisteria peak season had passed earlier than usual.. There are so many other flowers...More

We visited the 3rd of May and unfortunately the wisteria and azalea season is already over. There are other flowers in bloom, but the main attraction of the garden is well passed the peak and I would wait until next season with a visit.

It's a beautiful flower garden to visit! I unfortunately went during golden week, which is why I found it too busy. The park itself gives off French vibes and is quite spacious, definitely good for an hour or 2-3.

Hi Brian, according to their own predictions, there will be hydrangeas flowering then. I think the roses and clematis would have finished. And too early for their Amethyst Sage and Autumn Roses. Ashikaga is on a JR line so... More

Not really. The Great Wisteria Festival is still going on and will be available until May 20. There were some flowers last April when we went that were only about to bloom. Bring a hat cause it is hot and not a lot of shade.
