Definitely an impressive sight. The mosque closes quite early (12pm), so if you want to go inside you have to get there with enough time. Otherwise the view is very beautiful.

Not only did we get to visit this beautiful mosque but were invited by a group of locals enjoying lunch in the grounds to join them. We were welcomed with open arms and invited to share their shared lunch of local delicacies.

Visit this place if you are nearby Kuala Kangsar. It's worth the time. Go there in the morning or late evening. The view is even more majestic at night time.

The architecture is simply awe-inspiring with its golden domes and minarets, so it's worth stopping by Kuala Kangsar just to see this particular mosque while driving along the North-South Expressway. The surroundings are clean and well-maintained,...More

The historical mosque like Ubudiah and nearby royal museum (formerly mausoleum ) are worth the pitstop. For those less familiar with conservative Malaysia, you need to dress conservatively to enter, most if not all places of worship in Malaysia out of respect for religious and...More
