The museum shows technology of Japanese marine in WWII. It also emphasized on the pain Japanese took on mine sweeping after the war. Recommend if you are interesting in technology or history.

You will learn a lot about what they can do in peace and war. It is free to go in and there seem to be plenty of volunteers directing you on the route through the museum which eventually has you inside the submarine that towered...More

自衛隊が大好きなお友達も一緒に、皆喜んでいました。入場が無料。3階にユニフォームを着て写真が撮れるみたいだけど、気づかず撮れませんでしたのが残念だった。そこは見逃さないでね! Went with my family anda friends that love places like this. The entrance was free! At the third floor they have a space to take picture with uniforme, unfortunately I missed and we didn't take picture 😞 so don't miss it!

Ok if you want to see the inside of a sub. There's a mua attached which is where you spend most of your time. It's free. Take the Kure line from Hiroshima station. 500 yen one way

Nice exhibits about Japan's maritime military force. Fascinating information and hardware about mine clearing. Walk through part of a submarine, take a seat in the pilot's chair. Well done. My second time there and I'll go back.
