A must in Hiroshima. Short ferry ride of 10 minutes from Hiroshima to this quaint island with amazing views of the shrine. Boat is clean and has great views of the island and the shrine

It's a short 10 minute ride across to the island but the Japan Rail ferry take a route around past the tori gate so you have a good photo opportunity. Ferry is clean, tidy and staff are very friendly.

An efficient and inexpensive way to get to the island. Your Japan Rail Pass will cover the trip. Three boats operate making the trip very quick and easy.

A great little trip across the bay with wonderful views. Hardly any waiting time thanks to a well organised team. And if you have a JR Pass, it’s free!
