beautiful waterfall and great hike

This was a short but beautiful hike to the waterfall. Awesome bridge thru the nature. The waterfall is small, so we enjoyed the hike more than the waterfall itself.

We were headed north from Onna and made for the Todoroki Waterfall. Google maps led us to the place, but when we arrived, there were diggers and notices saying "Don't Enter". It was Sunday, and no one around, so who knows how long the works will take to complete? It is now 23.10.2016, long past 31.3.2016. But it's not far... More

This was a easy waterfall to get to. You literally just was up a few rocks and you are there. No hiking experience required.

we try to visit this Park March 1st. You drive through a local neighborhood, only 5 min from the main coast road. There is a small parking place at the beginning of the foot walk. The park is closed until end of March

It was pretty to see, but we wanted to go to another waterfall and on the map it says this place is that waterfall and it wasn't so we were a little disappointed. It is still a nice place to see though. Easier to get there with a car, but you can get off the local bus but have to... More

Me and my friend went by rental car, it is quite far and challenging to walk upto the falls. There was only us going, it seems not a well known place. There are simple rest areas along the ways but there are lots of insect (we visited summertime) so suggest to have insect repellant ready. The falls itself was nothing... More

Not sure where it says no swimming, but its no brainer since there is not much space/depth to swim in. Maybe just to dip and com out. I did see no rock climbing along the road. Anyways i followed a paved road and parked when i saw that the road got gravely. Walked up and came by a small bridge... More

You can't go wrong with off-the-tourist track, local and free. Its not much of a sight like maybe Kamigumi falls further North, but its a fun point to go to. There isn't much signage to get you there except a little one in Japanese just before the viillage - easy to miss if you don't know what you are looking... More

If you're traveling through Okinawa it's worth taking note of this waterfall because changes are you're going to drive right past it. Just off of route 58 and down a road you will find this lovely waterfall. Unlike others on the island this one does not require an extensive hike in fact it's just a few moments before you get... This waterfall is located not far from the business district of Nago City but is tucked away in a location where not many people know about it to visit. Surprisingly, not many longtime residents are aware of the location. At the time of my visit, there was some highway construction going on in the area which may have explained a... More
