The reward awaiting you at the end of the Mino park trail is a clearing with a stunning waterfall. You can see the top of the high rocks where the waterfall begins, and it's a wonderful sight to see the water pour over the cliff face down into the pool below. There is a very large area where you can... More

Minoh falls is a great city escape. It's a pleasant well paved walk and depending on your pace takes about an hour to go up and down. It can be steep in places, but finishes at a pleasant waterfall. There are also numerous other trails that are more rustic and less crowded. The trail follows the river and it is... More

The walk may be long. But worth the effort to see the rainbow at the waterfall. Beautiful..worth the effort.

Hiked for 45mins to an hour. Great waterfall, however, really crowded. Great for couples, families and even pets. Would recommend.

The waterfall of Minoh is very famous for the people in Osaka areas, as it is easily accessible from Umeda by Hankyu Railway (about 30 minutes including a change at Ishibashi station). It is good for hiking (40~50 minutes from the station). The way to the waterfall is flat and well maintained, so even for elderly people it is easy... More

Walked the Mino falls trail from Mino Station early October - much too early for colourful maple leafs. I also was unfortunate not to see or meet any apes supposedly hunting for treats from visitors at the fall and on the trail. Warmly suggested!

If you have half a day and want a chance of pace from all the shopping and eating in Osaka, this makes for a lovely (and easy) walk. It's also small kid friendly. The journey to Mino takes about 45 mins (depending on whether you get the fast or slow train from Umeda Station) and the trail to the waterfall... More

I recommend coming here, if busy bustling Osaka gets to you. The ride to Minoh gives you some nice views of Osaka and the walk to the falls is very nice as well. You pass some nice bridges, temples and houses on the way.
