Although this is an art museum, the garden is the star here. A bit of a distance from Sakaiminato it is definitely worth the trip. Well thought out beautiful vistas are to be found as you walk around the museum.

It's no wonder that this garden has been awarded as being the best in Japan. Since it's viewed from within the museum, no visitor can mar the perfect scenes created outside. The artwork on display was equally fascinating.
