Going up to the temple was difficult but all worth it. My religion may be different but I felt a deep sense of reverence when I came to the temple. So, it is full of people, but it is amazing. The views, the blossom, the local people, the buildings. It really is worth walking up the hill for. We went on a friday which happens to be Japan public holiday. There was a evening prayer session. Grave mistake. The crowd was massive. We literally crawl along with the crowd to go up to the temple.
