We have now visited the Casablanca Valley, Aconcagua, Maipo, Maule, Curicó and Colchagua Valley. All our wine tasting was self- planned and organised. You certainly need your own transport, and plan ahead with a designating a driver. Chile has, fortunately, a zero tolerance for drink- driving. That said we found it rewarding to be independent, lingering when we wanted, taking... More

Good view with good wine. The explanation of how to make up wine is very useful. I learn much about wine during the trip

We were traveling from Santiago to our ship and had time to visit the Valley and were glad that we did. It is beautiful and has many wonderful wineries that are worth stopping to visit.

The Casablanca Valley is just a short drive from Santiago and as you drive through there are vineyards and wineries along the hillsides and in the valley areas. It is quite beautiful and it provides a great opportunity to see some of the excellent wineries in Chile. A great opportunity to taste some of those great wines. You can drive... More

We spent two days while in Santiago touring the Casablanca and Maipo Valleys. The countryside is beautiful. The people are friendly and the wineries were outstanding. It was great to get out of the city atmosphere of Santiago and enjoy the countryside. Highly recommend visiting Casablanca and if you are interested in wine touring, contact Tom Taylor with Bodega Wine... More

We spent 3 nights here in Casablanca Valley. We stayed at Umawtu Bed and Win which was fabulous! Taxi driver Alejandro picked us up, dropped us off, and returned to transport us to the next winery. We visited and loved all the wineries we visited: Kingston Family Vineyard Casa Del Bosque Veramonte Emiliana House There are maybe six more in... More

Countryside is very pretty and clean after Santiago. Wineries are smart, well run and fun. Wines themselves are not nearly as impressive as anticipated (or said to be). Even the whites ( nominally the stars here ) lacked the complexity anticipated given the hot days and cool/cold nights that should be outstanding for SB production. Nice high end lunches (ubiquitous... More

Casablanca is very close to Santiago and a great place to stop on the way to the coast. Wineries are doing an excellent job in an up and coming area of the country.

We took a bicycle tour through the Kingston winery - the valley was absolutely beautiful and our guide knew so much about the history of the local wineries and the valley itself. It was a great day and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see the local vineyards and all of their splendor close up.

We only had a couple hours available to visit the valley. We loved the location in the mountains & the fabulous wines. We hope to return with more time, someday.
