The walking / hiking trail around the Los Roques de Garcia is told to be an hour. Unfortunately these days half of it is closed, so you cannot make a round walk, just till the half of it and come back the same way. The place is beatiful, accessable also with smaller kids (8-10 years).

Euro27 each return. Swiss built cable car seems efficiently run. Takes 44 people in each car to the base of the pinnacle of Teide. Still snow around at 3700m elevation. Fantastic views. Rough pathways lead up to the pinnacle. Sulphurous fumes leak from the ground in places. The lack of oxygen at this altitude is very noticeable. The highest peak... More

Get there early so that you can get a space in the car park. Take 5 minutes or 2 hours to walk about the many trials around the rocks, just wrap up warm as it can be windy and cold up there

This is a great little area of amazing landscape that you can walk around with 500 other tourists. There are good views of the mountain too (cloud permitting) and if you can take a moment to yourself you can really enjoy the volcanic landscape.

We did this walk today it was windy , cold but worth every step as it's an amazing experience . To see the rock structures was interesting but more than anything the vastness of the landscape

We been here on 31.12.16 Very nice walk around the Roques. It takes about 1.30 to 2 hours with the stops. If you have a possibility be there and walk around in the morning to feel the silence. Nice view to Teide volcano. Recommended

long walk but the view at the end of it, it's worth. 30/35 minutes of walking to arrive (slow pace).

Had ascended Teide by cablecar on a previous visit so took the opportunity to hike around this area, following the trail. It involved a fair amount of scrabbling over rocks and I was breaking a sweat in just a t-shirt on a cloudless and sunny December morning. Certainly paid to get there around 10 as we were alone for most... More

Interstingrock formations in the Teide National park. Amazing view to Teide. Pahts surround the area so you can crisscross around the rocks

Went up early in the morning to see sunrise close to El Teide.. Was windy and cold but worth to see! Even kids enjoyed walking in moon scenery..
