Ten years ago, if you go to the foot of the falls, you won't be able to bear the bad smell! Well two or three years ago, the city of Antipolo started restoring the park to it's former glory. Now it's a far cry from what it was ten years back! Everything is better! From the pool, the park, the... More

Public park, its clean but the waterfall area stinks. The water is dirty, they may have cleaned the place but of they do not care about the water source it will always be dirty. It smells like agricultural waste.

A waterfall in an urban sprawl filled with litter and bubbles from laundry detergents...Possibly worthwhile four decades ago other than its place in local lore and history...this used to be the end of the line for the Manila rail line....of course I always pass by the place on Sundays specially when jogging along Taktak Road...

Some drastic measures need to be done in this national park in Antipolo. The bad smell like "estero" or sewage canal is attacking our nostrils. You will just visit there to take pictures of the waterfalls because of the view of the falls, but you cannot stay there for long to relax and enjoy the nature due to piercing smell.

The place is reasonably clean. The water falls is a bit smelly. You can have a picnic. The pool is not open for public use. Needs further development like swings for kids or park play activities.

I had read that the falls were a bit run down, but had been cleaned up. As it was my first visit, I have nothing to compare to, but did find it a very nice place. I did not notice any foul odors that I had been warned about. There is ample parking near the entrance. There is no cost... More

The sound of the falls is very relaxing. The view though is nearly perfect because of the pile of garbage you can see below the falls. That explains also the foul smell.

Antipolo is locally known for the Hinulugang Taktak, Antipolo Cathedral, and its food. Although, the city has many more elements for tourism, I am writing this to review the Hinulugang Taktak only. The Hinulugang Taktak is a waterfall renowned for its beauty in nature. My family discovered the entrance here is free, so the very next day we dropped by... More

The efforts of the local government to rehabilitate and revive Hinulugang Taktak is now paying off. The waterfalls is slowly being restored to its old glory..there is more water now...and the bad smell is greatly reduced (but you still smell some when you get very close to the waterfall). The place is already very clean - with lots of places... More

Could be more interesting if they open the other part of the land and make it a jungle tour of the place to give more options for visitors. It is indeed a beautiful place and families can picnic in the area as long as you clean before you go.
