My husband and I had been to lots of bodegas and vineyards which were all lovely but we fancied a change, so we decided to go and learn about olives! We weren't expecting much in all honesty but we had such a great few hours at Maguay, it was fascinating and the staff were absolutely fantastic. We learnt so much,... More

One of the best places in Mendoza to visit, taste and talk about olive oil. Lots of history in the place. Great olive oils, varietals and blends. Very good service and tour and tasting can be done in English which is a plus.

When driving from Mendoza to Santiago this is a nice little place rather close to the main road on the way. The female guide explained the olive process in English and also took time to explain the different kind of olive oils for different food etc. During olive oil and olive tasting at the end of the show. If you... More

Located relatively close to the center of Maipu, this olive plantation gave us a great tour showing us the different kind of trees used to make different kinds of olives and olive oils. I knew absolutely nothing going into it, but asked a lot of questions. The friendly guide gave thorough professional answers without making me feel like I had... More

It was the first time we visited a olive's oil factory, and it was wonderful. The guy who presented Maguay for us, Agustin, received us very well and showed olive trees, the process for preparing olives, olive oil, and finally he tried both olives and olive oils they produce. High quality products with excellent prices. We recommend "Greek Olives" which... More

I've decided to visit this Olivicola following the Tripadvisor comments. I came alone without appointment in the middle of the afternoon. The place is amazing, an old building which has more than 100 years. The welcome was very warm, done by Agustin, one of the son running this Olivicola. First we went to the plantation and he explained me the... More

When we arrived, the first... More

We taxied over here from Maipu. We had a tour from one of the siblings who run & own this family establishment. We were the only visitors at that time. He showed us the olive trees, how the olives are prepared and answered all of our questions. Included were tastings of the olives and oil. We enjoyed our tour a... More

Hi! I´ve read your critic about MAGUAY in trip advisor and I would like you to explain me what was that you didn´t like about us. We really do our best and it would be very helpful if you give me details of what we did wrong. Thank you. Florencia More
