Table Mountain is a must-see attraction. Pictures and videos do not do it justice. Once you land in Cape Town be prepared to make your way up Table Mountain as soon as you get a clear day. It is windy most days and the park closes if the wind is too strong. There are several hiking trails, Plattelkip Gorge being... More

Superb views from the cable car and from the mountain itself. Suggest that a trip to the Table Mountain should be explored first (over other many other attractions in Cape Town), because cloud/fog cover can descend very quickly on the mountain blocking the view.

I have been up Table Mountain several times however climbing up was the best! Of course i came down in the cable car. Platteklip Gorge was over 1 1/2hr walk up with great scenery and a steady winding path up. The view was spectacular and well worth it. Check the weather forecast so that its not too windy that you...
