On March 16 2017 my husband and I took a tour with The 3 Amigos. It was fantastic tour. Our tour guide Gustavo was great, knew so much about everything not just relating to his job. It was a very long day, we started at 8 am and were back in our hotel at 6:30 pm. The places Gustavo took... More

Super tour with Ivan - a total gentleman and such an amazing storyteller! Not only did we see all the fabulous places we wanted to see on our Copper Canyon tour, with plenty of unhurried stops for photos along the way, but he had us in fits of laughter with all his canyon country tales. His wealth of knowledge and... More

If you plan to visit the Copper Canyon of Mexico, which I highly recommend, book it with Three Amigos. Their service, hotels, and guides were all excellent. They suggest itineraries which can be modified to the client's wishes. I highly recommend this company!

We hired bikes from 3 Amigos and spent the day exploring the area around Creel. The staff were very friendly and helpful - they gave us a map and good instructions of how to see the sights. The bikes were in good condition, and we were provided with helmets, a lock and a puncture kit too. I would definitely recommend... More

I was attempting to create our own tour of the Copper Canyon, although pre-arranged tours were not out of the question. With four of us travelling, we had the train booked as well as hotels from El Fuerte to Creel to Batopilas. However, we wanted to travel from Batopilas to Urique, then re-board the train at Bahuchivo. So, I called... More

It seems you have reviewed the wrong company. Please note that you are describing a different company that you may have thought, incorrectly, was ours, but I can assure it was not for many reasons, several of which we've listed below for your understanding. Thanks so much for you review Marjo. We are happy to hear you had a great time on your visit. Marjo gives great advice. We HIGHLY recommend you plan ahead and book your day tours and/or rentals well in advance. Because all our The 3 Amigos day tours are private with historian guides, deluxe vehicles, and in-depth itineraries, we do... More

Heard good stories about them, but they are closed on sundays. What is a pitty in tourist areas.. both Saturday and Sunday, the same paper was hanging on the door that "today" they were closed.

So sorry we missed you when you came by on Sunday. We are actually not closed on Sundays' at all, but rather we are open 7 days per week all year around. However, we do close occasionally when we are already sold out of rental equipment and tours for a particular day. As you noticed, we always put a sign... More

Hi WalesSandy12, Thanks for your good review, though The 3 Amigos is not a restaurant, nor a bar, we still appreciate your efforts to to take the time to leave such a nice review. Most likely what happened is that we suggested a restaurant or bar to you from our Creel offices, and you reviewed us directly instead of the... More

Hi Tres Amigos and people who have travelled with them

We are planning a trip to the Copper Canyon in December this year as part of a much longer Central America and Caribbean tour. We usually travel quite independently but having read about 3 amigos we are thinking that maybe it would be good to travel with them if the price is within our price bracket.

What we hope to do is arrive in Los Mochis from Cancun in late afternoon on December 13th, travel to El Fuerte the next day, 14th December ( seems too late to take the bus that same evening). Then on Dec 15th take train to Bahuichivo to overnight- possibly at Paraiso del Oso then continue to Divisidero on 16th December. We are not interested in the adventure park there. We are in our late sixties, adventurous but not that adventurous! Therefore we thought just to stay one night at either Posada Barrancas Mirador or Divisidero Barrancas

After that we would continue on the train to Creel to spend several days. We are thinking of a trip to Batopilas, the valley of frogs, monks and mushrooms etc . How long should we need for this? We were thinking maybe 3 or 4 nights. In any case we plan to take bus from Creel to Chihuahua on 21st December, allowing maybe just half a day to look around before flying out on morning December 22nd as we need to make an afternoon connection to Guatemala City that day.

We will be very appreciative of replies from those who have recently done this trip and also from 3 Amigos who maybe could private message us a price for organising part or all of this trip for us thanks in advance for your help.
