we hike in all places where we travel. in Mallorca we have done 5 hikes already and loved them all. this was our first and a great start to enjoying this island. for the last part, sturdy shoes are recommended. and going into the water is very refreshing. even if only up to the knees. we also enjoyed the goats... We have walked from Puerto Pollensa to Boquer a couple of times and both on very hot days so water is a must as there is no shop or cafe the other end. Good footwear is also a must as the terrain is unstable and stony - However you will be amazed at the view once you have navigated the... More

I love this place. I go there everytime I am in the area alone or with friends. After a not so long walk there is a beach were one can enjoy swimming or just sun bathing. The trail is between beautiful ridges. The silence, sun and beaches are perfect for solitaire trekking or with friends and families.

We didn't hire a car on this holiday and so apart from beach days, we decided to do some hiking. We were lucky to sign up the last free guided walk at the Tourist Information in front of the marina. The lady spoke English and German and took us past a gated Boquer family property, the stating point of the... More

This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Mallorca. The Cala de Boquer trail is a nice, easy hike with stunning views, approximately a 30 min walk to the ocean. Take the time to admire this beauty, sit down once you are near the ocean, smell the rosemary and enjoy the majestic scenery. A must see in Mallorca.... More

I walked to top of the cove 3 years ago and this year was determined to swim in cove. Sadly it was raining for our adventure which is why it became extremely muddy and very slippy. But well worth the struggle to get down as the cove is crystal clear and full of fish and just so lovely to swim... More

Great walk on a sunny autumn day. The first part of the walk is realtively easy but the decent to the beach is quite steep and not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. I wouldn't choose to do it in the rain as I'm sure the path would be quite slippery.

I've done this little walk three times. It is roughly 7 km there and back but you can always make it a little longer by wandering on the hills and dunes. You will pass a fair amount of wild goats on your way but they will not come and see you until you get to the bay. They are used... More

We kind of 'stumbled upon' this walk, which wasn't to taxing and we were only wearing trainers. Very dramatic scenery and some large raptor type birds over head (to far away to be identified by amateurs!). The day we went it was very busy with a constant flow of people enjoying the walk.

A good walk with fine views but the path is very stony and hard going without thick soled shoes. Mostly fairly level after the initial climb up to the pass.
