Such a beautiful sight. We went with a 3 year old and it was great. Sun is really strong and the eater was calm and warm. Great photo opportunities and there's a few men walking around trying to sell pearls and sea urchins they caught.

If you want to know how it feels to be shipwrecked on a stretch of white sand with no shade and boatloads of other tourists come here. I don't know what to say except I would probably skip this if I could. There were some makeshift shacks where you can try baby uni and anemone, sea cucumber, bananaQ and beers... More

The last stop on the island hopping tour is this sandbar, barely half a kilometre long, just off the 'mainland' of Panglao Island, a 10 minute ride on the boat from Alona Beach. It may be called a 'Virgin Island', but the we were there, we had company.....about 20 or so of the tour boats anchored off the sandbar to... More

This is a cool experience, just an island of sand in the middle of the ocean. The kids loved lying in the warm water, and spotting all the starfish. Nothing to do except laze around in the water, eat overpriced cooked banana skewers (yummy) and take lots of cool photos. A unique opportunity.

Beautiful place to visit, white sand beach with clear n narrow sea level. Is a must when visit Alona beach area. Enjoy Fresh abalone, fresh sea urchin directly catch from the sea with super affordable price.

Well it's a sandy spot in the middle of the water. This is one of the stops included in one of the island hopping tours. Walking around it would take 5 minutes max. Maybe worth a few pics but nothing spectacular.

Eventually most people get roped into renting a boat and driver and do island hoping in Pangloa Bohol. We did and ended up at Virgin Island. Nothing there, dirty water and sandbar, too many people and grass around the reef that hides spiny sea urchins. Not worth it, go to the Bohol bee farm instead and rent their boat, much... More

Pungtod Island or now known as “Isola de Francesco” or Virgin Island, a seventeen thousand square meter privately owned island off the coast of Panglao.
