Captured Island

Virgin Island - We are lucky to be able to visit the island during low tide. We are able to walk through an isle forming sand and breath taking view.

Approximately 40 minutes by boat from Alona beach in Panglao,Bohol. It's just a stretch of Sandbar mostly for Photo -op. If you like fresh Sea Urchins this is the place to get it. Very cheap and fresh.Local vendors abound in this little island selling from fresh young coconut, bottled water and fried bananas on sticks. (Delicious) The motor boat cost... More

Not much to see. Mainly shells that have been harvested and broken sea urchins. Lots of starfish also.

Whilst this beach is very small and you probably won't spend long there, it really is beautiful and worth seeing. I recommend paying for a private boat which isn't as expensive as you would think if you haggle prices well. The private boat takes you snorkelling with the sea turtles first and then heads to Virgin Island. The boat ride... More

So much work for 30min of nothing at all, couple stands with some sort of food and people try hassle you to buy "real" pearls. With boat took us forever to go there as the place is no deep. Nice white sand but beach is not clear, you even can't go for swim there, regrets to go there...

Middle of nowhere in the sea, great location for sightseeing, relaxing and click pictures. A must visit if you travel to Bohol

Nothing here but a sandbar. People trying to sell you things constantly. Pure harassment. Uninteresting. Regret coming here.

We stopped at virgin island during a morning boat trip. Although the distance did not seem far the noise of the boat engine and the length of time it took to get there was not really worth it imho. It is a pretty location but I don't think its much better than the other places you see anyway.

Photogenic place! The sands were so clean and beautiful. Just use banker boat to get there! You'll not regret for sure.

Like with any place here, there are vendors trying to sell you pearls, necklaces, and food. This is a sandbar with some mangroves, and the only way to get there is to do the tour to balikasag island. Worth the quick stop for some great photo opportunities.
