Perfect beach

We were with my family just for 5 min. There because it's cloused for tourists, I think its for some risk on the beach.

Beautiful beach with less waves than Anakena making it great for swimming. Access is by climbing over large rocks & is there unsuitable for kids/elderly.

Ovahe is just down the coast from Easter Island's only other beach, at Anakena, a relatively easy climb down from the parking area. The beach itself is very small, in a sheltered cove, and the swimming is easier than at Anakena becasue of athe lack of any sort of undertow. (At Anakena one has to get through some crashing waves... These beach was a short hike in. You need a vehicle to get to it as it is not near to the town. We stopped here on our guided tour and spent a couple of hours.

Playa Ovahe Simply Stunning! Nothing else describes this wonderful beach. Hard to find must admit but once there it is yours to enjoy. Great for families safe and lots of space to play cricket!

This secluded beach was a bit hard to find. I had to use Google maps to aid in finding it and once you reach the turn off point, you drive quite a ways in. We went in September so it was pretty desolate and only found another small group of people there at the time. We parked our vehicle in... More

A white sand beach beside ancient moais is not something you experience often. It's not a s supervised beach so be aware of strong waves and stay clear of the shar volcanic rocks to be safe and avoid any injury/accident
