This is one of the most atmospheric houses I have ever visited, although my visit was made all the better by having the whole place to myself on an unseasonably warm March afternoon. The directions in my Rough Guide were a bit misleading. The easiest...More

Great villa and even the state of slow decay is somewhat charming. Unfortunately only 3 rooms can be visited and the gardens are not taken care of. Staff at ticket office is very unfriendly. We had to wait until the guy hat finished his cigarette...More

Was a nice villa one day I suppose. Still nice garden. Villa needs renovation. 6 eur entry is way to much. 2 eur Max are fair. Many rooms are even closed.

I recently purchased a second home in Bagheria and decided to scope out the city. This villa must have been something in the 1700 and 1800's. The "monsters" are worth seeing and the Villa is a quick walk through. My hope is that the family...More

We had a pleasant time as we strolled the grounds in the late afternoon. It was easy to imagine what it must have been like to live in this place years ago.
