You get here by walking about 5-7min from the Maronti Beach (between Barano and Sant'Angelo), quite easy to find and there is some signage though not very obvious. The place is not glamorous. You can pay a few Euros for just entering the place but will not be able to use the terme, so I suggest you pay whatever the... More

We stumbled upon this great Roman spa whilst walking along the beach from Maronti to St. Angelo. It is deep in the hillside and cut into the rocks, with the original Roman baths and sauna still in use. My husband had a head and shoulders mud treatment, which he really enjoyed and was reasonably priced. You can also buy fresh... More

I love this informal natural spa. There is an authentic sauna in the rocks. A natural thermal water shower coming down the rocks, and old roman baths to soak in hot water. They offer a variety of face treatments, massage and hot and cold mud treatments. Everyone working there is super nice..just ask..They speak a little English. I recommend the... More

Was not where it says it was on the map, spent two hours driving through small lanes to never find it. Was a great shame we were really looking forward to the visit.

Loved this simplistic spa. Straight to the point in the old roman style. At first I was skeptical but quickly fell under the spell of this terme. My husband doesn't go for this sort of thing & he loved it. Low key no pretense just exactly what is needed to thoroughly relax!!

Just a short walk down Maronti beach turn up a deep gorge along a rough path, easy walk for anyone. Then enter a somewhat odd place, not luxurious, just basic but feel the weight of history as the experience hasn't changed for 2000yrs. You feel like you've stumbled on a secret place, only a few souls around. Had a mud... More

the most amazing spa day for 25 euro. these were the baths of the men who once ruled the roman empire- which was reason enough for me to go. the ancient set up remains, carved out of the mountain making this an unforgettable experience. not your typical spa so please be open. they rub you down in algae clay, let... With mixed reviews on here about visiting we decided to go for it and wereso glad we did, firstly Maronti beach is beautiful (sand is a little rough) but views are stunning. We arrived at the sign posted entrance (which feels like you're going on a hike) but keep walking through the valley with great sense of history and stumble... More

Terme Cavascura is a magical experience accessed by walking along the beach and then up a path, so follow the signs and make a visit! I had the mud treatment: for €20, your entire body is painted with mud and then you bake in the sun until the mud sets. Afterwards you wash off the mud (harder than it seems).... More
