We jumped into the dusty jeep in Vis town and took off down the road toward Komiza. Goran was passionate about the country, the culture, the island, the food and the amazing wine. I've sailed in Croatia a few times and Vis is my favourite island. Going on this tour enhanced my experience here. Spending time in the bunker was... More

We did the military tour which was very interesting and our guide Goran was great and very professional! All those interesting facts and tunels that we saw were worth it. If you go to visit Vis Island, i suggest you this tour which is just phenomenal! :)

Visited the island of Vis on Sept 10th and 11th by sailboat, there were 5 of us. Our friends came back from a walk in Komiza with their brochure, and we thought, what the heck, military AND wine - something for the guys and something for the girls! We arranged for late afternoon tour the next day starting in Vis.... More

Litterally, not kiddin. I've spend 15 years living and working my summers on the island of Brač, but comming to the island of Vis, and Komiža town, was like I went through some portals along the way, totally different. This summer in Komiža, for me, was the best! Alternatura travel agency takes care of all your needs for adventure, discovery,... More

Awesome tour, the rallye-style driving is not for the faint hearted. Great views of the islands and even got to see an old nuclear bunker

The military tour was really great - you get to see and know about the military history/sights like underground tunnels etc and at the same you enjoy some prime views of the beautiful landscape from off road locations. Goran, our guide, was really fantastic: he is very knowledgeable and also passionate about the island and made it very engaging. Both,... More

We used Alternatura to visit the Blue Cave and our boat driver was awesome! He gave us some history about Vis, Komiža, and the Blue Cave. He seemed to care about the island and conservation of the island. Recommend! Notes: take the 9:00 am Blue Cave tour.

Alternatura brought us on a speed boat around the island, with visits to the Blue Cave, Stiniva Beach, Stončica Beach and the submarine base. We also made a surprise stop in a secluded bay, jumping of the boat and having a marvelous swim in the Mediterranean. We were already happy with our stay in Komiza, but this really took our... More

An over 4 hours of Discovery tour organized by "Alternatura" and with Goran as a guide is fantastic experience. Over 4 h of driving, hiking, smelling and even tasting of wild plants on Vis (e.g. carob pods, wild oregano, ...) passed very quickly. We heard a lot of stories about history of Vis; saw underground tunnels, Tito's cave, fortresses build... More
