Opened in 2007, this garden is a cross between a small botanic garden and a municipal park. It is situated alongside the grounds of Seri Negeri, a short drive from MITC in Ayer Keroh. Entry is free and there is plenty of free car parking. It is open from 6.45am until 6.45pm. It occupies a gently-sloping site and has wide, surfaced paths, mostly suitable for wheelchairs and strollers.
The gardens are very tranquil and laid out to include shady areas and open grassy spots. There are fountains and a small look-out tower where you can climb the ladder, although the view isn't of much other than the rooftops of the adjacent Seri Negeri buildings!
The planting is very well maintained and contains local species of trees, shrubs and flowers, including a Pokok Melaka after which the city was named. Some of the plants have name boards. There is also an open-air orchid 'house' with about eight or ten different types of orchid, some of them with a lovely fragrance.
It's not really a place for the serious botanist, more somewhere for a very pleasant stroll with the chance to see some striking colours and take some pretty photographs. If you make a complete circuit without stopping, count on about 45 minutes but it would be a nice place to sit on a shady bench and just chill.

Clean but need a good gardener to maintain the healthy plants. All age could enjoy themselves walking around and rest looking at flowers. Many prewedding couple take photos around here.

The name failed to match up with the offerings. We were so disappointed. There was not many flowers to see. Looks like a tropical forest, rather than a garden with a thousand flowers.

Located in Ayer Keroh next to the Seri Negeri State government complex, this 5,3 hectare park has beautiful landscaped gardens. pergolas, water features and a walking track. For this interested in flowers and gardens, this is the perfect place to visit. Plants are all well tended and varieties include orchids, hibiscus, heliconia, ornamental banana plants, and herbs. Entrance is free and it is opened from 6.45 am to 6.45 pm. A popular venue for wedding photography.

Recent visit to this park was a lovely morning break. For nature, you just have to come at the right time. I saw many blooms and it is like drinking in the beauty by the cupful. Don’t come here expecting to be entertained by nature. Just come to soak in the breathe of the earth.

There's no thousand flower as described. Only some common type of flowers & plants. The place was barely managed. The plants were dry. Lonely place to go around.

I went here on December 2017. I bet this was the last choice of place if you have nowhere to go. A gerden suitable for a newlywed for photoshoot. Advantage, no heavy traffic towards here. Better go to botanical garden rather than this garden.

We went for a family photo shoot here, assuming its going to be colourful as the name is 1000 flowers garden. A bit disappointed with the limited plants available. Otherwise, it's a good place to have a relaxing walk.
