Make more sit and plant more flower. Also if possible put a small playground around the park so the children can enjoy the nature like a small gazebo surrounding with a beautiful flowers plant.

We went there a a last minute choice. Took a walk along the path. It was not very tiring but good enough to give you a gentle workout. It was cooling to walk under the canopy. There are several options for you like skytrex, canopy walk, 10,000 step trail. It was not properly sign posted to let you know where you are and where you are heading. Could have had many along the way to give you your bearing and also let you know which route to take. There many souvenir stalls selling the usual stuff outside the entrance. It would go there again at least for the workout.

Visited thinking this would be a series of layed out Malay style gardens and flora and fauna. Turned out to be a large tree and fern jungle setting with walkways meandering through. Had a nice walk but glad there is no entry cost. For the adventurous they have a zip line adventure course running up in the trees.

So called a state that proud with its tourism attraction, but has no website for promotion and share information. Or anyone knows the official website of Melaka Botanical Garden?

We organized our school field day at this facility. The field was quite a distance from the entrance but that made it fun for the parents and their children to find their way there.

The toilets were washed the morning of our event.

Everything seemed perfect except for the many monkeys that live there.

Be sure not to serve food or eat openly in front of the monkeys as they may grab your food.

But most of all, it is their space so just respect that and do not probe them!

Overall I would definitely organize another event here!

I went through the botanical garden on my way from Skytrex to the zoo.
Nice to walk there. What is noticeable is that the garden is very clean, no plastic bags or bottles are thrown away everywhere.
What is the case in much other places.
No need to come there especially for the garden (maybe there is something special to see what I not know) but when you’re around there, have a short walk.

We have been going to the Bontanikal Garden 3 times a week. for our morning and evening walks, we find that the maintenance of the Botanikal Garden is deteriorating. Some of the walkways are covered with shrubs with branches extending over the walk way shoulders. There are many rotten tree trunks, branches, scattered all over not cleared for months. There are Food empty plastic wrappers and bottles not cleared. Plants in broken pots not replaced, Side jogging tracks covered with dried leaves that so much so one cannot see the tracks. The resting pagolas not maintained, most
exercise machines are broken or faulty. One Skytrex has not been repaired and replaced with new ropes. There are alot of monkeys picking food from the trash bins and throwing the wrappers outside the bins. There should be something heavy to placed on top of the bins to prevent the monkeys from opening the covers. The public toilets are dirty and equipments are faulty. The Library is pathetic as only the ground floor is occupied with just several book shelves with outdated books mostly
in Bahasa Malay.

Set in a natural rain forest with walking trails. Very refreshing cool weather especially in the morning and evening. Cater to all age group of people and for the young they Skytrex will appeal to them.

Never thought that I gonna give this place as 'very good' rating. Known as recreational park for all ages, providing jogging tracks, buggy ride, bicycle trail is great effort done to give this place a number of visitors every day, it been so sad that they do not maintain it well. Sometimes, it can be said that, they intended to do profit more then preserving the forest. There are rubbish every where when the monkeys trash it. It just like they do not dump the trash every single day once it is full until the monkeys make it worse. The fallen tree will not be clear from the path if no one complain about it, some of it resting hut are not in good shape anymore.

But, Skytrex adventure park give me a relief as they create an exciting adventure in the forest and they do it in sustainable way. The trees used for their trails are not harm as they carefully choose the suitable trees, use protective cover before installing the challenge and the platform and offer limited number of customers to be doing the activities so that they do not harm the trees health. Great sustainable adventure, love it and what can I say, it is cheap for high rope challenge for its tickets.
