Good size zoo. Lots of anilmals.

This is a great size and if you have children there is a big play area and a good size petting zoo. Many different kinds of animals to see and feed.

This Zoo is exceptional in its concept and an extremely great adventure if visiting with kids. But also for us, as a couple, who have known and visited the Zoo on several occasions, it is a great place to visit. You will experience a wonderful walk in the nature with the option to see the animals partially very close up... More

The Opel Zoo in Kronberg is always a good idea for a family activity. No matter which age, you will have fun! There are many exotic and cute animals, a petting zoo, a really big playground, two restaurants and some smaller kisoks. The zoo is not exacly for "free" so make sure that if you go there, you have enough... More

We've visited the Frankfurt area and family living there suggested to visit the Opel-Zoo in Kronberg to give our kids a break from the city. The park is approx 25 min outside Frankfurt, depending on the usual big traffic in the Frankfurt area. We suggest it mainly German tourist and locals rather than the international crowd. Given the big international... More

It is a great zoo that offers high interaction with the living animals since you can purchase carrots and other food to feed the animals. In terms of animal welfare I have given it too much thought since a zoo is always a compromise. Anyway considering other zoos I like this due to feeding the animals. They offer relative ok... More

This zoo is great for young kids, since it's really accessible and on their scale but still has lots of great exhibits. it's great that kids can feed some of the animals and get right up close to many others, and the pony and camel rides were also a highlight. It's pretty hilly, so make sure you've got your good... More
