This was one of the highlights of our trip - Guadalest Valley. The views from the castle were just stunning. The castle inside felt medieval haunted.

Great views and lovely surrounding towns. Fantastic when the sun is out. Highly recommend the effort of driving out and visiting this beautiful old town and its valley.

Lovely drive up to Guadalest. Amazing views once at the top. You can see for miles on a clear day. Nice little a good to have a nose around and plenty of places to grab food and drink. Large car parks if busy.

Amazing place that is worth to be seen. Although this place isn’t very comfortable for travelers with strollers, with some help through the stairs, you would see this amazing views.

Well worth a visit to take in the views from the old castle looking down into the lakes. Take the new road not the hair pin bend road!

The reservoir provides the drinking water for the immediate towns and villages.....I do not think that kayaks would be welcome!
