Efficient, fast, value for money. A train that arrives on time and departs on time is a great achievement in any country and throw in beautiful views and you have it all.

Tram from Alicante to Benidorm was really lovely, traveling north along the coast. Benidorm wasn't as awful as I expected!! Loads of lovely tapas bars.

Very easy way to travel the coast, and see lovely scenery. Travelled to Benidorm, cost less than 7 euros, took around an hour. But lots of other beautiful stops along the way. Trams ran from Alicante every half hour.

Easy way to move in the city, tickets can be bought in a machine inside the tram. Metropolitan area ticket is 1,45 €. It's quite slow and in San Juan side it has 30 minutes interval.

Stayed in Alicante for a few nights but decided to take the tram to Benidorm for a day trip. Very reasonably priced at €6.40 for an adult return. Trams clean and on time. Took 1 hour 15 minutes and the views were spectacular. Would highly recommend using them.

Great way to get around, just like the LondonUnderground, cheap tickets and very straightforward. Used it a lot when visiting my daughter over Easter period. Buses go to a holiday timetable and are more unreliable.

There were a few nerves about using a tram in a different country but the Alicante tram system is extremely easy to use. The ticket machines are on the tram and they have numerous languages, so once you touch the picture of your flag it couldn't be simpler. A great way to get around the city

Used the tram from cap negret down to Benidorm and to altea. Ticket machine easy to use and not expensive. Only problem was we caught 10.15 pm back but it terminated and then had to walk. Easy to use and clean.
