Deeply moving place. By coincidence I was there at the same time as a party of troops from 3 Para laying a wreath and that made it even more atmospheric. These men resting here truly did 'give their tomorrows for our today' and it's an important place to visit and view life from that perspective - especially in the light... More

It is a peaceful place. Every year the people of Oosterbeek commemorate the battle with the remaining veterans. Impressive. Good place to dwell... More

Walked all around and couldn't find any directions to a visitor centre - bit... More

Beautifully maintained - in a peaceful setting - heartbreaking when you see that they were just boys.

When you arrive here at this cemetery and you see all those young men you will immediately be silent. It is so impressive that you feel humble, sad and free at the same time. All those men from abroad who gave their lives for out freedom. I went there with my my wife, three children and their friends to pass... More

As you would expect, a very emotional site. Peaceful. Serene. Well-kept. It was truly sad to read the ages of each of these brave young soldiers. RIP

Any one who has a interest in Arnhem and the bridge too far then this is for you. One of the rare battles from ww2 that you can nearly walk most of it. A tale of heroism and defeat when 10000 men flew in to.take the bridge and hold it for 2 to 3 days awaiting the cavalry 30.corp to... More
